System Requirements for Surpass SL and Surpass Web SL

Surpass SL: Surpass Central and Surpass Safari

• 500 MHz or faster processor
• 200 MB free hard drive space
• 256 MB RAM (512 recommended)
• Windows 2000/XP/Vista

Installation Types:

• Stand-alone installation to a single PC
• Network installation to a Windows network fileserver with appropriate licensing

Surpass Web SL: Surpass Central and Surpass Web Safari

Surpass Central requires:

• 500 MHz or faster processor
• 200 MB free hard drive space
• 256 MB RAM (512 recommended)
• Windows 2000/XP/Vista

Installation Types:

• Stand-alone installation to a single PC
• Network installation to a Windows network fileserver with appropriate licensing

Surpass Web Safari requires:

• Windows-based web server.  Server must be on same network as Surpass database (not a hosted server).  Web server and Surpass database server can be the same computer
• Windows 2000/2003 server running IIS or other web server software.  Web Safari can also be run on Windows 2000, XP Professional (workstation) or Vista, but is limited by the operating system to 10 simultaneous connections.
• Full-time high-speed Internet connection to server
• Static IP address or dynamic DNS service
• 512 MB RAM (more is better)
• Web Safari may be accessed from any computer with an Internet or LAN connection to the server via a standard web browser such as Netscape or Internet Explorer.
