CL Applications

Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008.
500 MHz or faster processor (1 GHz or faster is recommended)
512 MB of RAM (1 GB or higher is recommended)
1 GB of free hard drive space for typical installations

Surpass CL multi-user license, available from Surpass Software
Any system running a "home" or "home basic" version of Windows cannot be used as a file server for network installations. Other non-server editions of Windows (such as Windows XP Professional) can be used as a server in a small network environment, but are limited to 10 concurrent connections.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher
An Internet connection is required to display optional Safari Selections enhanced content

An Internet connection is required to connect to remote library databases
Firewall must allow outbound TCP connections over ports 210 and 7090. For most modern "internet security" software packages, this simply means allowing Central.exe and/or Copycat.exe to connect to the Internet. However, some third-party security systems may need specific configuration to allow such connections. For more information on this, please consult your network administrator or Surpass Support.
