If your system is indeed behind a firewall, you should have your system administrator open TCP port 210 and port 7090 for outbound traffic. There are a few other TCP ports used by a handful of library database servers, such as ports 2100, 2200, 20003 and 21210, but the predominant standard is port 210, except for the US Library of Congress, which is using port 7090. If you don't know what this means, or if you aren't sure, then pass this information along to your system administrator or technical staff member. He or she will know what to do.
