Enhanced catalog experience for patrons
Surpass Awards & Honors helps your patrons find the “best of the best.” It goes well beyond just showing patrons which awards and honors a book has won (it does that) and it goes well beyond just showing a lists of award winners (it does that, too).

It actually connects these lists of awards to the items in your collection, allowing your patrons to search your collection for the highest honored books of the year as easily as they would search your collection by subject or author.  

Enhance your catalog  

• Item details show lists of the title’s awards and honors with links from there to the full list of honorees
  

• Browse for award-winning titles by year or for all recent honorees. Just like a search results list, the patron can click on the title to see the detail.
  
  
   

• Select from a list of awards and honors to see a list of all the titles for that honor. 
  
  
   

• Customize which awards and honors to include.
  
  
   

• Include award-winning and honored titles even if they aren’t in your collection, if you wish. This can be a helpful tool when planning acquisitions.
  
  
   

• For some awards and honors, the database includes the nominees in addition to the winners and/or honorees. Select to include or exclude these.
  
  

Subscribe to Awards & Honors
The annual subscription rates are:
$80 for Surpass Select or Centriva users
$60 for Surpass SL users
$40 for Surpass CL users

Renewal of Awards & Honors is, of course, optional so there is no obligation.
